Hi, I'm Stacy-Ann.
I am a board-certified International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, Certified Doula, and the founder of Gwinnett Breastfeeding. I am also a mother of five, and my children are my world and the reason I do this work every single day.
After years of working with families through some of the most vulnerable and meaningful moments of new parenthood, I came to understand something that shapes everything I do: what mothers and families need most is support that respects their choices, includes their partner, and meets them exactly where they are. That belief is the foundation of Gwinnett Breastfeeding.
I founded this practice because I believed families in Atlanta and Gwinnett County deserved access to the highest level of lactation care available — care that builds confidence rather than creates pressure, and that honors every family's unique goals and lived experience. Whether you are exclusively breastfeeding, pumping, combination feeding, or still figuring out what feels right, you belong here.
My Background & Training
As an IBCLC, I hold the highest internationally recognized credential in lactation care. My clinical experience spans lactation clinics, pediatric offices, newborn clinics, and the NICU, giving me the depth to support both straightforward feeding journeys and complex clinical challenges with the same level of care and attention.
As a Certified Doula, I also bring a holistic understanding of pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period to every family I work with. I believe that breastfeeding does not exist in isolation — it is part of a larger journey, and the support I provide reflects that.
My clients benefit from my training and experience across:
- Lactation clinics and private practice
- Pediatric offices and newborn clinics
- NICU settings
- Birth and postpartum doula support
- Prenatal breastfeeding education
- Virtual lactation care throughout Georgia
My Approach
When I envisioned Gwinnett Breastfeeding, I imagined a space where a woman's body and innate ability are honored and championed. A place where she can come to learn, to gather, and to grow as she navigates the newness of motherhood without losing herself in the process.
I provide care that is warm, evidence-based, and completely judgment-free. Partners and support people are always welcome. I take the time to listen first, assess carefully, and build a plan that actually fits your life.
Breastfeeding support should reduce stress, not add to it. That is the standard I hold myself to with every family I serve.
