FACT: breastfeeding shouldn't hurt.

In our lactation consults, we provide expert support to help families overcome their breastfeeding challenges. Our services are tailored to meet your unique family needs. We offer a range of appointment options to ensure that you receive the support you need.

I am here to help with all lactation related issues and infant feeding. Here are few situation parents contact me to help with:

  • Experiencing pain while breastfeeding
  • Feeling unsure or uneasy about breastfeeding
  • Your infant is having trouble latching on
  • Concerns about your milk supply
  • The baby is experiencing slow or low weight gain
  • They are being told to supplement with formula
  • They are receiving conflicting advice about breastfeeding and need guidance

When you work with me, you are getting an experienced and compassionate International Board Certified Lactation Consultants/ I will meet with you either in your home or in our office. During the consultation, I will take a thorough maternal and infant history. I will perform pre-and post-feed weight checks to measure the volume of milk your infant transfers.  We will then provide you with accurate, evidence-based information and work with you to develop a customized plan that works best for you and your baby.

We believe that providing breastmilk is a parenting decision and should be supported. That's why we provide ongoing support groups, maternal mental health groups and follow-up after your consultation by email, phone calls, or follow-up visits. We are one part of your care team, therefore we request to send a report of your consultation to your OBGYN,  midwife, or  your child’s pediatrician to ensure that your entire care team is up to date on your progress.

We accept health insurance through Aetna, Humana, Cigna, United Healthcare, Anthem/BCBS and self pay. We will inform you of your coverage and if you have co-pay or deductible.

All appointments require a deposit. Refundable depending on your insurance reimbursement. All other appointment will be paid in full prior to your appointment
