Hi, I'm Aleah.

I am a board-certified and licensed lactation consultant, nutritionist, and certified Labor and Postpartum Doula serving families across the west and northwest Atlanta suburbs. While I am not currently offering doula services, I love bringing my doula-informed approach into every consultation to help families feel supported, informed, and confident throughout their entire feeding journey.

My path to lactation care started not in a hospital, but at a WIC department, where I worked as a nutritionist and witnessed firsthand the real barriers families face when it comes to feeding their babies. I saw the struggles, the confusion, and the lack of accessible, personalized support. And I knew I wanted to do more. I wanted to be the person who could walk alongside families through those barriers and help prevent them for the families who came after.

That desire led me to become a board-certified IBCLC, and it is the foundation of everything I do today.

I am also a mother of two who was fortunate to breastfeed each of my children for over two years. That personal experience, layered on top of my clinical background in nutrition and hospital-based lactation care, gives me a perspective that is both professional and deeply personal. I understand what it feels like to sit where you are sitting. And I know that the right support at the right time changes everything.

Every family's journey is different, and I am honored to help parents create a plan that feels right for them.

My Background and Training

My experience spans a variety of settings that have shaped the well-rounded, practical approach I bring to every family:

  • Hospital-based lactation care
  • WIC nutrition and breastfeeding support services
  • Virtual lactation consultations
  • Private practice home visit consultations
  • Labor and postpartum doula support

As a nutrition professional, I also help parents understand their nutritional needs during pregnancy and the postpartum period. I especially enjoy helping families find nourishing, sustainable food choices that align with their culture, lifestyle, and personal preferences because care should always feel realistic and supportive for the whole family.

My Approach

I provide evidence-based, unbiased, and completely nonjudgmental care to every family I work with. My goal is simple: to make sure every parent feels supported, informed, and confident throughout their feeding journey regardless of what that journey looks like.

I work closely with parents to help them prepare for and meet their feeding goals, whether that means breastfeeding, pumping, combination feeding, or bottle feeding. From prenatal breastfeeding education and preparation to support in the early days and weeks after baby arrives, I help families understand their options so they can move forward with clarity and confidence.
