Centering Breastfeeding Group is led by an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and is designed to expand on the support you receive during private lactation consultations. This program provides continued education, guidance, and community so you can feel confident and supported throughout your breastfeeding journey.

This is a hybrid group that meets three times virtually each month and once in person. Breastfeeding support is not just about solving challenges — it is about building community, learning together, and creating a supportive environment for both parents and babies.

Before joining the group, families start with a private consultation. This allows your IBCLC to understand your unique breastfeeding goals, challenges, and needs. During this session, you will receive a personalized care plan that creates the foundation for continued support.

2. Continue Your Journey with Group Breastfeeding Care

Once you have established your personalized plan, Centering Breastfeeding Group helps you build on that foundation through guided group support.

  • Beyond Early Breastfeeding Support: In the early weeks, breastfeeding often focuses on latch, supply, and feeding basics. In this group we move beyond those early questions to help you understand the bigger picture of feeding, pumping, bottle feeding, and long-term breastfeeding success using evidence-based guidance.
  • Ongoing Support for You and Your Baby: Parenthood brings both joy and a heavy mental load. This group offers continued support, education, and resources for navigating feeding, baby care, and daily life with a newborn. You will also benefit from guest experts who join the group to share specialized knowledge and guidance.
